I’ve cultivated my expertise over nearly two decades. However, my connection to the world of coffee extends even further than my years of experience. Growing up alongside my father, Ali Ghambari, the esteemed owner of the renowned Cherry Street Coffee House in Seattle, Wa, I was introduced to the craft of coffee from an early age. With a rich history spanning over 25 years, Cherry Street Coffee House has become an institution in the local coffee scene.
In 2014 I secured the highly esteemed title of United States Barista Champion. This accolade showcased my ability to deliver outstanding coffee experiences and was a launching pad opening doors to connecting with the global coffee community.
From 2012 to 2016, I served as a member of the Executive Council for the Barista Guild, an elected position that allowed me to contribute to the growth and development of baristas across the United States, and eventually, the world.
My deep understanding of coffee education and retail operations led me to executive-level positions for leading roasting companies like Stumptown Coffee Roasters. I’ve led multi million dollar channels, and double digit teams across the US.
Now, I’m taking all that knowledge and experience and sharing it with you! This has been my most inspiring role yet.
More Than Coffee
I am also a mother to 3 small children. We live in SW WA on 5 acres employing regenerative agricultural practices. My bedside table is filled with books about native plants and foraging. If you want to spark a conversation with me bring up composting or waste reduction.
